Ash is one of the most common trees in the UK.  The leaves are amongst the first to be shed in Autumn.  The ash tree was thought to have medicinal and mystical properties with the wood being burnt to ward off evil spirits.  It was referred to as the 'Tree of Life' in Norse mythology.  Even today it is sometimes known as the 'Venus of the Woods'.

Hand sawn ash leaves hang beneath bezel set amber gemstones.  The warmth of these gemstones is reflected in their rich, orangey hue, especially when the light bounces off of them.  These earrings are a great accessory to carry through from Summer days to Autumn nights.

- The earrings have a high polished finish.
- The gemstones are approximately 10mm by 8mm.
- The drop of the earrings is approximately 61mm from the top of the earring hook to the bottom of the leaf.
- The depth of colour and clarity of each stone will vary and they may also carry unique inclusions.

These earrings are handmade by myself from sterling silver sheet in my home studio.  The ash leaves are hand sawn and the stones are set within a bezel setting.  The wires are also handmade from sterling silver.  Due to the nature of each individual item being handmade, no two pieces will be completely uniform.

All items are hallmarked by the London Assay Office and gift boxed, complete with a dust cover and are shipped via Royal Mail Special Delivery (UK).
